Christchurch Sri Chinmoy Centre Photo Gallery

Christchurch lies on the central eastern side of the South Island of New Zealand. It is known as the "Garden City" and although it has a very small population of around 400,000, it is the second largest city in New Zealand.

On 27 November 2002 Sri Chinmoy composed the following song for Christchurch:
"Christchurch, Christchurch, Christchurch!
Your are your progress-march.
Quickly your life-river flows.
Slowly your patience-heart grows."
